The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their Account Executive counterparts. This role manages outbound campaigns, qualifying active buying interest, and identifying critical decision makers. The SDR will need to be able to articulate the business’ value proposition.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Gathering 70-100 leads each day with advanced prospecting tools
  • Making 75+ outbound phone calls each day
  • Discovering new leads through internet research and social media monitoring/messaging, using tools such as LinkedIn Navigator
  • Supporting client’s marketing efforts by assisting in online and other marketing campaigns
  • Managing prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting in CRM
  • Achieving, and exceeding, weekly/monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.)
  • Being prepared for and contributing to strategic weekly account and trial status meetings

Required skills and Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma
  • 1 year inside or outbound sales experience required
  • Strong team player with a ‘’can-do’’ attitude and passion for excellence
  • Passionate about sales and marketing
  • Must be highly proficient in business tools (i.e. Google tools, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstration of exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Exceptional at building relationships
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills are required
